Found Tomb of Pharaoh.

The Egyptian government says archaeologists find tomb of the Fifth Dynasty Pharaoh about 4,500 years ago.

Minister in charge of ancient Egyptian objects Mamdouh al-Damaty said previously unknown tomb was discovered by experts from the Republic in Abu Sir, who used to be a cemetery in the ancient capital of Egypt, Memphis. Located in the southwest of the capital today, Cairo.

Damaty added, that women in the tomb identified as Khentakawess. Based on the signs are found, he is believed to be the wife or mother of Pharaoh Neferefre - ruling about 4,500 years ago.

"For the first time we know the name of the queen that was not known before the discovery of the tomb," said Damaty as quoted by the BBC on Monday (01/05/2015).

The archaeological excavation efforts also led to the discovery of about 30 furniture made of limestone and copper.

Republic archaeological team leader, Miroslav Barta said their findings might be helpful to know the aspects of the unknown from the Fifth Dynasty Pharaoh. Which together with the Fourth Dynasty, witnessed the construction of the first pyramid.
