Facebook Ready to Compete.

Facebook.
 Facebook Messenger put one more step closer to the world of instant messaging. The social media giant is no longer requires users to have a Facebook account to be able to access and use the Facebook Messenger.

User United States, Canada and Venezuela that do not have a Facebook account can download instant messaging applications. On the sign-up screen, Facebook offers users an alternative way to use the application simply by registering their name and phone number.

Users accessing Facebook Messenger without a Facebook account can still use the same features to users who access the Facebook account. However, because not connected with the social media Facebook, they are accessing without Facebook accounts can only rely on contacts in the phone to find their friends.
