World Heritage Bahai Gardens.

If a visit to Israel feels incomplete if you have not visited your travel Bahai Gardens . The park is located on Mount Carmel that position 400 meters above sea level and as one of the most popular sites in the Middle East .

 Bahai Gardens

Bahai or pretentious founded by Bahaullah who is also the founder of the Baha'i religion in the early 19th century . Initially a unique hanging garden design , which is a combination of regular geometric shape beautifully with the maintenance of the natural and historic landscape features .

Each year the park is visited by more than 500 thousand visitors from all over the world . In July 2008 , the Bahai Gardens in Haifa and Akko inscribed in the UNESCO world heritage list . It is in recognition of outstanding universal value as a sanctuary and place of pilgrimage Bahai adherents .

Bahai Gardens in Haifa

There are two Bahai Gardens . One in Haifa and one located 16 kilometers further north in Akko . Bahai garden located in the city of Haifa is located in the heart of the city , consisting of a staircase of nineteen terraces that reaches the northern slope of Mount Carmel. In the park there are temples Haifa gold dome of the Prophet 's tomb in the Herald Bahai religion .
The main entrance is located near the road Shifra . This entrance gives access to the gold-domed shrine chapters and extensive gardens are terraced levels of the same size . Garden Bahai Bahai closed when the Holy Day and Day of Yom Kippur . In the rainy season sometimes closed due to security reasons . Thank you for reading this article.
