Recognition of her 14 years.

When Adeba Shaker arrived at a home in Raabia, Iraq, after being kidnapped by militants of the Islamic State or ISIS last month, one of his captors received a phone call. Shortly thereafter, the fifth man in the apartment took their weapons and rushed out.

Shaker, 14-year-old girl from ethnic minority Yazidi, heard the sound of a truck to leave. And silent atmosphere. It was the first time in 20 days she and another girl who was imprisoned with him in a state alone, without guards, and door open.

ISIS has been trading militants from the Shaker village in Sinjar in Iraq northeast to the Syrian border. The girl was used as a "gift" to the militants on the front lines. He must adhere to Islam and forced to marry one of them.

"When (the militants it) left us, I panicked. I do not know what to do. I see a bag full of cell phone and I called my brother," said Shaker via telephone from a refugee camp in Iraq.

On the phone, Samir, his sister, telling her to go to a nearby house and ask for help and guidance to reach the border where fighters from the Kurdistan Workers Party State (PKK) militants are fighting ISIS. Samir said that the PKK would help him.

"It's like a gamble because I do not know who the friend and who is the enemy," said Shaker.

He and his friend decided to try their luck. Both girls were sneaking out of the house and knocked on the door of a neighbor's house. "We explained the situation to them and they showed us the way to the border. We have never looked."

The two girls went to the front line.

"I can not walk upright, my legs shaking and my heart was beating very fast. We ran, walked, and we never looked back," said Shaker.

After two hours of walking, they heard gunshots. As they approached, they saw a group of PKK fighters. They began running toward the PKK fighters. "I was crying and laughing at the same time," he said. "We are free!"

ADEBA Shaker is one of the few people who escaped from the Yazidi ISIS militants who had taken over most of the territory of Iraq and Syria in recent months. Tens of thousands of Yazidis fled from their ancestral homeland in Sinjar and other villages. They run away from the pursuit of militants ISIS, which considers residents Yazidis as devil worshipers who must embrace a radical version of Islam that group or they will die.

In addition to Shaker, the militant group that abducted at least 73 women and children from the village and trade them in northern Iraq. Shaker remember how the militants that separates the old women of their group.

Young women and adolescent girls reportedly facing a terrible fate. After being gang-raped, they will be sold to the highest bidder.

Adult women and adolescent girls auctioned for less than 10 dollars (or approximately USD 100,000), reports said. Others, such as shakers, should marry the militants.

"When most frightening was the first night after they catch us," recalls Shaker. "We arrived at a police station in another town. Everyone was in a state of crying and screaming. We do not know what will happen to us."

Shaker previously lived in a small village along with 25 members of his family. She loves school and wants to become a teacher. When the family heard that the militants ISIS approached, they fled to a nearby village. However, the militants chasing them shortly afterwards.

"They promised, they will not hurt us if we give up," she said. "They separated the women and children of the men .... They then took all the jewelry, money, phone, and our vehicles."

Two hours later, all prisoners are loaded into a truck and transported to an unknown destination. "At first (they) try to be nice to us .... They tried to calm us." Shortly after that, their attitude changed and they became "rude and aggressive".

Finally, Shaker and his family arrived in town Badoosh, near Mosul, where they were joined by about 1,000 women Yazidis and other children. He was separated from his mother and the whole family. The girl was then sent home at the Raabia, where he managed to escape.

Shaker is now safe in a refugee camp in Iraq. There he was reunited with his two brothers. He did not know the fate of 22 other family members who are still in the hands of militant groups ISIS.

"Sometimes I can not sleep at night. I was very worried about them," he said. "That's the worst time ... Everyone was asleep and I still think about my escape."
"I know, I was lucky. God save me."
