Must understand blood type.

In Indonesia, we still often hear / believe in myths or misunderstandings about blood type, such as: "Blood type child must be the same as the blood group one parent" "Blood type girls join dad, blood group boys participating mothers "" Type O blood is stronger than the other blood types "
"Dark Blood means the blood group O" None of the above are true myth. One complication of this myth is fueling the conjugal quarrel if you have children of different blood groups with one or both parents; the husband suspects the wife, or accusing the wife has had an affair. Actually understanding of blood group we have learned in high school, but many of us forget, and eventually some of us are affected by the myths that exist. A, B, O, AB
There are several blood classification systems. The most commonly used is the ABO system and Rhesus system .. Blood type is determined by a mix of genes inherited from the father and the genes inherited from our mother. Transmission of genes that determine blood type follow the laws of Mendel. Type of inherited genes is called the genotype (genotype), consisting of genotype A, B, and O.
* O genes and gene fusion produces O blood group O.
* A fusion gene and the gene produces O blood group A.
* A fusion gene and gene A produces blood group A.
* Fusion gene produces B and O blood group gene B.
* Fusion genes and gene B blood type B produce B.
* Fusion gene A and gene B produces blood type AB.

In other words :

If we are blood group O, we only have the gene O. If we are blood type A,
we may have a gene, or genes have a gene A and O.
If we are blood group B, we may have the gene B, or have the gene B and
gene O.
If our blood type AB, we have Gene A and Gene B.
People with blood type A, if it receives a gene A and the gene from both parents, called homozygous; if it receives gene A and O genes from both parents, called heterozygous. People with blood type B, if it receives the gene B and B genes from both parents, called homozygous; if it receives the gene B and O genes from both parents, called heterozygous. People with blood type O O only pass on the gene to their offspring. People with blood type A can inherit the gene A or gene O to his offspring. People with blood type B can inherit the gene B or O genes to offspring.

People with blood type AB can inherit the gene A or gene B for the offspring. Therefore  :

* Parents group O and O, produce children group O.
* Parents group O and A, resulting in the child class type O or A. parent group O and B, produce a child type O or type B. The parent group O and AB, produces children's class A or class B. The parent class A and A, produce children class A or class O. Parents group. A and B, resulting in the child class A or class B or class AB or class O.
* Parents groups A and AB, produces children's class A or class AB or class B.
* Parent class B and B, produce a child of class B or class O. parent class B and AB, produces children's class A or class AB or class B.
* Parent group AB and AB, produces children's class A or class B or class AB.

If we already understand all of the above, we know that the blood type is not always the same child with one parent, except for a pair of O and O, couples O and A, and the pair of O and B. Strong whether or not a person is not at all determined by class blood. There are many factors that determine our physical health, including the level of Haemoglobin (Hb), the number of red blood cells (erythrocytes), the number and composition of white blood cells (leukocytes), blood cell counts clotting (platelets), and many other indicators that determine health someone. What is clear, healthy blood type does not determine whether or not a person. Some people still believe the myth that a dark red blood mean blood type O. This is totally wrong. Color is determined by the blood hemoglobin concentration, red blood cell count, white blood cell count, blood sugar levels and others, including cigarette toxins. Blood color does not determine blood type.


Rhesus: Rh + or Rh-

Another very important system is the Rhesus system. This type of classification is based on the presence or absence of antibodies against the protein in our blood Macacus rhesus monkey species. If a person's blood reacts (clump), he was classified as Rhesus positive (Rh +). If a person's blood does not react, he was classified as negative Rhesus (Rh). The majority of our race diversified Rh +. But this classification can only be ascertained from blood tests such as ABO group. Systems ABO and Rhesus has become a standard classification of blood around the world, including Indonesia, so full we know of groups of blood as follows: Group O, Rh + Group O, Rh Type A, Rh + Group A, Rh Type B, Rh + Group B, Group AB Rh, Rh + Group AB, Rh- Rh- diversified People who should not receive Rh + blood diversified, because it can cause fatal effects / mortality. So, even if the recipient and donor are equally diversified A, B equally diversified, equally diversified O, equally diversified AB, but the recipient may not receive a diversified Rh diversified donor Rh +; may only accept donors who are also diversified Rh. While diversified recipients should receive Rh + Rh diversified donor.

Blood group :

Do not just guess at the identity card in daily reality, in Indonesia are still very many people who never check blood type. Many of us who guessed the origin of blood groups when it must fill in the official data such as KTP (identity cards). Indeed this is very dangerous. If at any point we need blood donors, blood incompatibility us with donor blood can cause fatal effects / mortality. Today almost all health centers and midwives throughout Indonesia have been equipped with tools and materials for blood type. Given the importance of us know our blood type, it helps everyone in this country knows their blood type. Blood type only took a short time, no more than 15 minutes. Currently the cost of blood type in the private laboratory facilities ranging from Rp35.000, - up to 50,000, -. Blood type is fixed, can not change. If someone ever find her blood type is different in the two examinations, meaning there is one examination wrong. Hopefully the above explanation can give us a true understanding of blood type. Check and know your blood type each.
