Criticism and condemnation from various groups who claim to advocate human rights (Human Rights) did not dampen the Sultanate of Brunei Darussalam to implement Islamic law.

Punishment for the act is five years imprisonment and or a fine of BND 20 thousand (equivalent Rp 183.8 million).

In addition to the teaching of Islam to students of Islamic religion is also prohibited, even though many Christian schools have a Muslim student.
