Forest Sink mystery.

The term forest submerged / submerged generally describe the remains of trees that have been flooded by rising sea levels. Forests such as these can also be found farther inland on the lake.

Then do they live? Of course not, they are slowly decaying in the water.
Some unique and forest sinks include the following:

Lake Kaindy, Kazakhstan.

The lake is located in the deep forest with a height of 2000m above sea level. Formed from avalanches limestone and soil deposition. This forms a natural dam lake and a beautiful canyon.

This lake has a length of 400m long with a depth of 30m. Beautiful views presented here. The remnants of trees that are not submerged, looming like nails creations of nature. While parts submerged in water, it seems a mystery as forests that are hundreds of years old.

Bezid Lake, Romania.

Located in the Transylvania region of Romania, its uniqueness is not only beautiful scenery but also the mystical side which is presented here. Bezid formed after the whole village is flooded, leaving the houses at the bottom of the lake and the only local church tower and trees are still seen towering over the lake.

The branches and twigs of older trees seen towering above the water surface as the hands that carry mystical message. This reservoir is also hiding something under the water, ie debris submerged villages so that further adds to the wonderful atmosphere and mystery also presented there.

Periyar lake is actually artificial reservoirs, for a flood area which was created in 1895 by the construction of Mullaperiyar Dam. The tree stumps are the remains of the forest that once.

This reservoir presents a view of the remains of thousands of forest trees that died due to waterlogged that fill this artificial dam. Lots of animals are losing their habitat here, but lately, this reservoir began to re-attended by various groups and types of animals that are around this reservoir environment.

Often seen a bunch of elephants who deliberately stop by here, in addition to drinking some are toying with a bath here. Not to forget also started many new types of fish are caught in this reservoir inhabit.

Lake formed by hydroelectric Akosomba Dam, which provides power supply to many countries. Completed in 1965, the project was forced 78,000 people to relocate new settlements, along with 200,000 of their pets, while some 120 buildings and dwellings countless destroyed.

Native conifers southeastern United States, Cypress trees thrive in moist habitats, and some individuals can live for more than 1,000 years.

Baldcypresses, which thrive in swampy habitats, has a distinctive growth called cypress knees, woody projections on the water, which is part of the root system and provide structural support and stabilization - in flood-prone sites like this.

In Cambodia can be found floating another forest, consisting of trees growing out of a lake, roots kust they are hidden under the water.

Trees that grow in Kampong Pluk are mangroves and other forest habitat. They are home to a variety of wildlife, including crab-eating monkeys, as well as humans who harvest shrimp and live in a tree house / home buoyancy.
