Egyptian court sentenced to death back to former President Mohammad Mursi. Yesterday (16/5) judges Shaaban El Shami announced that 63-year-old politician deserve such a heavy verdict in the case of a prison riot in 2011. Besides Qaradawi, the court sentenced him to death for Hezbollah commander in Lebanon. In the verdict, Shami sentenced to death around 70 militants of Hamas in Palestine.
Based on the applicable laws of the State Pyramid, the judge must apply the death sentence to the supreme spiritual leader nicknamed grand mufti. Currently these positions lap by Shawki Ibrahim Abdel Karim Allam. As an advisor to the Egyptian supreme religious as well as scholars, leaders 53 years was regarded as the most neutral. Because of its neutrality reason, the court shall ask for consideration to the grand mufti of the death sentence. Later officials were not the party as well as members of the group and any organization that will give the best advice. But whatever the input of Allam not binding, the court has the freedom to accept or reject the inputs that are agamais.
However, the new convicts may appeal the court verdict drop after input mufti.
"The court will read out the relevant final decision Mursi and his death sentence on June 2," said the Egyptian media. Previous court overturned the death sentence against Mursi.
Mursi were developed in the 2012 presidential election was only one year served as head of state. He was ousted in a military coup in July 2013. His position was later replaced by Abdel Fattah El Sissi who was then serving as the supreme leader of the military.
