The news was announced by the Syrian Human Rights Supervisory Authority (SOHR), Saturday (30/08/2014). SOHR said as many as 27 women Yazidis are sold at a price of 1,000 dollars, or nearly $ 12 million to the soldiers ISIS.
SOHR continue, it received information about 300 people Yazidi woman was kidnapped and taken to Syria, but so far only 27 people were confirmed sold for marriage.
"In recent weeks, about 300 women and girls were abducted in Iraq's Yazidi taken to Syria to be a reward for the soldiers ISIS," the statement SOHR.
The organization added that it has documented numerous cases in which the soldiers ISIS then sell the women with a price of US $ 1,000 to be used as bridal other ISIS soldiers.
"SOHR documented at least 27 cases Yazidi woman who sold for marriage by ISIS members in the province of Aleppo, Raqqa and partly partly Hassakeh province," said SOHR.
SOHR added a number of Arab citizens of Syria and Kurdish women also tried to buy it as an attempt to free them. However, these women are only sold to members of ISIS.
Furthermore SOHR added, so far not known for sure the fate of the rest of the 300 women Yazidi it. SOHR also criticized the practice of selling Yazidi woman who by ISIS considered merely goods that can be traded.
Yazidis are ethnic Kurdish minority who hold the old belief that stems from the teachings of Zoroaster. ISIS regard them as devil worshipers because of the teachings of the mixing some Yazidi religious beliefs and practices.
