Can stress lead to heart damage in a job ?
Have a tough job and full pressure can increase the risk of heart disease , the researchers in the UK .
They analyzed 13 research respondents in Europe with 200,000 people and found that the " pressure of work " associated with a 23 % risk of heart attack and death from coronary heart disease .
But the risk is still smaller than the effects of smoking or lack of exercise, as reported by the medical journal Lancet.
British Heart Foundation said the person's reaction to stress from work is the key .
Pressure of work is one type of stress . The research team at University College London said working in any profession can lead to stress , but it is more commonly found in workers with low skill levels .
The doctors who have to make many decisions in their work would have a lower stress than a factory worker .
