Break Records Best Lap CITY Nearly Two Seconds .
Sebastian Vettel demonstrated his potential to dominate the U.S. Grand Prix at the Circuit of the Americas ( COTA ) .
In the practice sessions on Friday , he showed amazing speed .
With only 35 laps around the track , at least among the other drivers , Vettel posted a time of 1 minute 37.305 seconds. He excelled 0.115 seconds over his teammate, Mark Webber . Nico Rosberg ( Mercedes ) are far enough third fastest , 0.480 seconds .
