Demanding Human Rights.

In general, British people's struggle against the king's rule was considered as the beginning of the struggle of absolute humanity in demanding their human rights . Successive British people struggle that resulted in several instruments , among others :

Magna Charta , in 1215 . Occurs during the reign of John Lackland.

Fill Magna Charta is :
The king must not levy taxes if there is no permission from the " Great Council " ( the king 's advisory board ) .
People should not be arrested , imprisoned , tortured or confiscation of property without sufficient reason under state law .

Petition of Right , 1629. Occurs during the reign of Charles 1 .

Contents Petition of Right is :
Tax and privileges must be with the permission of Parliament .

Bill of Rights , 1689

Originally named the Declaration of Rights , issued by King Willem III . Once inaugurated by Parliament into law the name was changed to the Bill of Rights .
The contents of the Bill of Rights are :
Making the law should permit Parliament.
Tax must be with the permission of Parliament .
Must have a standing army with the permission of Parliament .
Freedom of speech and opinions of the Parliament .
Parliament has the right to change the king's decision .
Parliamentary elections should be free .
Similarly , among others, the results of the struggle of the people of England in the form of charters which to date is the constitution for the United Kingdom . What is called the Great Council in the Charter of the Magna Charta is an advisory board consisting of the king Baron who represent the area .
However , the Great Council was the seed of democracy and first base for the British constitution . Great Couneil later turned into a Parliament consisting of the House of Lords and House of Commons . With the issuance of the Bill of Rights of the king's power switch to the Parliament .
Keep in mind how big influence on constitutional developments in British state is the opinion of an expert thought named " John Locke " the nature of his book " Two Treatises on Government " says that : by nature a number of rights rooted in human nature since he was born, so by because it can not be revoked by anyone.
These rights are : the right to life , liberty and property rights . John Locke's ideas is the conception of liberalism that sees society as an association of individuals from a number of individuals who are free and are protected by state power is very limited on the free individuals .
John Locke's view is very influential on the current view of the English nation , who believes that the government is just a tool which is established by the people and for the people in which each individual is recognized as a private person who should be given the widest possible freedom .
People's struggle against the British king who was transformed into a parliamentary opposition to the king's rule resulted in a shift in shades of the original UK Absolute monarchy where the king in power indefinitely , becoming a constitutional monarchy in which the king's power in the Constitution and eventually up to now a parliamentary monarchy , where No power to the parliament , and the king only as a symbol .
A big change for the development of democracy in Britain which took place without causing bloodshed , and are therefore called " Glorious Revolution " .
