Bima (Dewanagari: भीम; IAST: Bhima) or Bimasena (Dewanagari: भीमसेन; IAST: Bhimasena) is a protagonist in the epic Mahabharata. He was the son of Kunti, and is known as a powerful figure Pandavas, is always rude and intimidating to the enemy, despite the fact that soft-hearted. Among the Pandavas, he was second of five children. His half-brother Bima is Hanuman, Wanara famous epic Ramayana. Bima and his family lived for several months along with Hidimbi and Ghatotkacha, after which they went on a trip.

Giant killer Baka.

After passing Hidimbawana, the Pandavas and their mother arrived in the town of Ekacakra. There they were staying in a family home brahmin. On a day when the Bima and his mother was alone, while the other four Pandavas went begging, brahmin homeowner told them that a giant called bakasura terrorizing Ekacakra city. Upon the request of the villagers, the giant stop bothering the city, but instead the entire population of the city is required to present a nice meal and a man each week. Now, brahmin family that provides shelter for those who turn to present one of his siblings. Feel indebted to the kindness of the brahmin family, Kunti said that he would submit the Milky which will kill the giant Baka. Yudhisthira initially hesitated, but finally he agreed.
