Luxury dream Hitler.

Hotel located on the island of Ruegen, Germany is the world's largest hotel ever built by the German government during the reign of the Nazi party. The hotel stretches along 4.5 miles and only 150 m from the beach. The hotel has a total of 10,000 rooms that can accommodate 20,000 people at once. However, since completed to date, the hotel has never been used.

The white sand beaches on the Baltic island of Germany, is the largest hotel in the world with 10 thousand bedrooms all overlook the sea. Yet, somehow what the cause, this hotel since built about 70 years ago I was once inhabited by tourists.
Prora Hotel is a hotel complex built in 1936 to 1939 at the time of the Nazi regime. Its purpose is to provide entertainment to the German workers are spreading Nazi propaganda. Locals call this place because Prora Colossus is a monumental structure.
Prora is situated in a bay area Sassnitz and Binz. This magnificent hotel complex consists of eight identical buildings that made lengthwise along the 4.5 miles, about 150 meters from the shoreline. Developing workforce hotel complex of 9,000 people and doing it for three years. At that time, the Nazi dream of a luxurious resort features a cinema, a festival, a swimming pool, and a dock for cruise ships back.
Not only that, Hitler wanted Prora a giant resort on the coast; largest and strongest in the world. The hotel offers 20 thousand beds, each of the two beds in the room. On each floor there are toilet facilities and a ballroom. In the hotel, there is a massive building planned to be converted into a military hospital during the war.
However, all are limited by the beautiful dream dreams. War did, however, before the building was completed, Hitler changed priorities. The employees moved to the developing plant construction. After the war, Prora thus used as a military outpost of the East German army.
The building is a building that has been vacant since died slipshod. In 2011 the last time to be transformed into one of the blocks and made a 400 bed hostel. However, there are ongoing plans to change Prora a modern holiday resort with 300 beds is equipped with a small shopping center in order to attract tourists to this place, as reported from Amusingplanet, Thursday (02/01/2014).

However, all these plans are forced to lie fallow because of its air-roaring World War II since Adolf Hitler ordered all construction workers Peenemunde to the hotel to make weapons to fight against the allies.

The condition of the building is still solid although there are some parts that rot. But the German government never intended to displace the historic old buildings. Something that is very contrary to our nation's history who never appreciate.
