Movement of non - Muslims in Malaysia to distribute free comic who abuse the use of the word " Allah "
Malay youth movement has been the target of non - Muslims by distributing free comic books and materials are freely use the word " God " , according to the Malaysian ambassador told The Malay Mail , Wednesday ( 18/12/2013 )
Malay daily also claims that it is inviting the local Muslim community fears that the use of the word " Allah " by non - Muslims issuance will be abused in the middle of the " push-pull war " against Muslim - Christian use of the word. Muslim community worried that Muslims , especially young people of faith will be threatened by the use of "Allah" for God's non-Muslims in their free comics.

In its report , the newspaper claimed that the movement of non - Muslims , not identified , has distributed literature containing the interpretation of scripture is not clear who reads the word " God " .
The books are reported to have used the word " God " broadly , also called the Prophet Isa , according to their own interpretation .
Malaysia 's sent to say that this group is also alleged to have distributed comic books detailing the life of Jesus as opposed to the stories mentioned in the Al'quran . The comic books do not mention the name of the publisher on the front cover .

Utusan Malaysia said that the group or movement is led by a man who claimed to be a U.S. citizen who spoke fluent Malay , as well as a few locals from Sabah . The movement has also approached the youths in the capital, Shah Alam Selangor last week . This movement has been actively trying to spread their religion since the beginning of this year .
Freedom of religion is guaranteed by Article 11 of the Malaysian Federal Constitution which guarantees the right of Malaysian citizens to profess and practice their faith . However , the spread of other religions to Muslims can be restricted or controlled by state law and federal law for a federal territory .
In 1988 regulations on Control of the spread of the religion among Muslims that is in use in several states including Selangor , for example , prohibits the dissemination of a religion other than Islam to the Muslim community .
The use of the word " Allah " in Christian publications in the local Malay language has long been a controversial issue in Malaysia .
The series of events began from 2008 when the Ministry of the Interior threatened to revoke the license of a Catholic newspaper The Herald , which encourages the Church to sue the Malaysian government for violating their constitutional rights .
The 2009 High Court decision affirming the constitutional right of the Catholic Church to use the word " God " has a surprising group of Malaysian Muslims who consider the word " Allah " only refers to the Muslim God .
Last October , the High Court ruled that the Interior Ministry 's decision to ban the use of the word " Allah " in the Catholic Weekly Newspapers Herald justified . The High Court said that the use of the word " God " is not an integral part of Christian belief .
 According to the 2010 census , Muslims are the largest religious group in Malaysia . Malaysia's Muslim population largely Malay , with Article 160 of the Federal Constitution explains that the Malays as one of the countries that recognize Islam .
Christians , including the Catholic population of nearly 800,000 , make up approximately 9.1 percent of the population . Buddhist and Hindu respectively formed 19.2 and 6.3 percent of the population .
