Did You Know About Brain Cancer.

Brain Cancer
Information About Brain Cancer .
Hearing the name of cancer only we had a little bit scared , especially when coupled with the name of the organ regulating the life of the body and the memory storage / memory of someone , the brain.
Brain cancer is one of the 12 types of cancer that attacks the character slowly, infiltrated with subtle symptoms and neglected, and invite death by unexpected ways. It is a very frightening specter of brain cancer.
Brain cancer is a biological state that grows in the cranial cavity, which is also known as intracranial tumors. The location of the disease in a wide variety of cells, including brain, brain nerves, meningeal brain, skull, pituitary gland and other organs as metastases from metastatic brain tumors.
Because the cranial cavity everything form bone, brain tumor grows large will cause increased pressure within the cranial cavity, which then cause symptoms of headache, vomiting, blurred vision, cramps, coma and other symptoms, the position and nature of the pathological lesions of brain cancer can be different due to differences in age.
The incidence rate and mortality rate of brain cancer
The incidence rate of brain cancer about 5% of cancers throughout the body and occupy 70% of the rate of childhood cancer. Brain cancer can arise and affect all ages. At the age of 20-40 years had a higher incidence rate ratio of the incidence of brain cancer among men and women as much as 13: 10.
Worldwide each year there are approximately 18,500 people diagnosed with brain cancer each year and there are about 12 760 people died of brain cancer. The average lifespan of a patient who died of brain cancer is 64 years and the rate of brain cancer deaths each year is increasing.

Brain cancer can cause hazards such as:

Damage to brain tissue, causing interference to the nervous system, causing the body to lose normal function.
Edema of the brain, causing swelling of the brain, cranial cavity pressure increases accordingly.
Edema caused severe damage in the cavity of the head, making the death of the nerve centers, and so forth.
Symptoms of impaired sense of smell, movement becomes slow, legs and arms are not powered and other symptoms.

Factors causing brain cancer.

Factors radiation.

Wave radiation emitted by cell phones, computers encourage cancer cells.

Factors trauma.

External trauma can stimulate the brain, meningeal scarring will lead to tumors and can accelerate the growth of brain tumors that previously existed.

Chemical factors.

Incidence of brain cancer associated with contact pesticides, dyes, formaldehyde and others in the long term.

Factors radiotherapy.

Contact with radiotherapy exposure is also a risk factor for brain cancer.

Congenital factor.

During the early development of the embryonic cells or ectopic tissue residues in the cavity of the head, has the function of differentiation and proliferation, leads to congenital brain cancer.

Genetic Factors.

Genetic defect or mutation can cause brain cancer, approximately half of the patients had a family history of brain cancer.

Symptoms of brain cancer.

Head pain relief at four or five in the morning, patients often wake up from a sound sleep, the deep sleep, the headache will be heavier.
Symptoms of vomiting in patients with brain cancer is not accompanied by nausea and abdominal pain, was also not associated with consuming food, but rather appears that burst after vomiting headache shortly.
Brain tumors can cause increased brain pressure, causing backflow of venous blood in the eye is not smooth, causing stasis edema and injure the visual cells in the retina, resulting in decreased vision capabilities.
One side protruding eyes: One side of the eyeball protruding forward, the more severe the symptoms causing the eyelids can not close properly.
At the bottom of the temporal lobe of the brain under stimulation of brain tumors, causing the phenomenon appears illusory sense of smell.
Brain tumor pressing auditory nerve, which resulted in hearing in one ear side gradually degraded.
Patients whose symptoms of epilepsy as an adult, if there is no external injuries or other causal factors, it first has to be considered brain cancer.

Method of examination of brain cancer.

Radiography X-ray head.
Can help to determine whether there is symptoms of increased intracranial pressure, damage to parts of the head or bone hyperplasia and other symptoms.
CT scan of the brain.
Easy to detect the lesion size, shape, number, location, density, and other properties.
MRI.
Can show most brain tumors and peripheral edema around the tumor, the tumor accurately show the location, size and shape.
Electroencephalography (EEG).
Determination of the value of the localization of brain tumors that grew rapidly in the cerebral hemispheres, can see a decrease in amplitude and slowing frequency around brain tumors.
Biochemical measurements.
Against pituitary tumor patients, especially patients of anterior pituitary hormone secretion excess, can be confirmed through biochemical examination.

Conventional methods of treatment of brain cancer.

1. Operative treatment.
Through surgical removal of the primary tumor, as much as possible with a clean lift of tumor cells, avoiding cell hyperplasia.
2. Chemotherapy treatment.
Due to the special structure of the blood-brain barrier in the brain, chemotherapy treatment experienced a lot of restrictions / impediments, only can use chemotherapy drugs that are soluble in fat (fat-soluble) through intimal cells into the tumor cells, to produce the effect of the drug, but such a way that affects the speed and efficiency of drug function.
3. Radiotherapy treatment.
Mainly using tumor cell sensitivity to the level of the radiation beam, based on pathological diagnosis of a brain tumor, degree of differentiation and the results of imaging tests to determine the scope and size of the radiation dose, but in the process of radiotherapy treatment can occur toxic side effects.

Methods of treatment of brain cancer.

Methods of treatment through food.

Consume a lot of fresh vegetables and fruit.

Consuming sufficient amounts of protein, such as egg whites, fish, various kinds of beans processed foods and so forth.
Reduce foods containing animal fats, such as lard, butter, cream and other foods with high cholesterol content.
Avoid foods that can stimulate the nervous system, such as alcohol, concentrated tea, coffee and so forth.

Through psychological methods of treatment.

Regularly check back to the hospital.

Maintaining psychological (mind) optimistic, actively coordinate with treatment.
Brain cancer patients is very easy to be negative, must often communicate with the patient.
Often gives encouragement to brain cancer patients, helps establish confidence in the fight against cancer.
