Parikesit (Dewanagari: परीक्षित; IAST: parikeṣita; parikṣit) or Pariksita is a figure of the epic Mahabharata. He is the king of the kingdom of Kuru and grandson of Arjuna. His father was Abhimanyu while his son is Janamejaya.

Satanika appointed as king in place of his father and married the daughter of the Kingdom Wideha, then had a son named Aswamedhadatta.
The descendants of king Parikesit is a legendary king who led the Kuru kingdom, but history does not appear in the Mahabharata.

Great Wall of China was built.

The main concern of US military and other countries is the goal of development on the island because it could potentially be used for military and other facilities in order to strengthen the country's territorial claims.

"But what really attracted a lot of attention here is the Chinese land reclamation by unprecedented," said Harris.

While China claims most of the South China Sea region. Similar claims came from the Philippines, Vietnam, Taiwan, Brunei, and Malaysia. Earlier this month, Vietnam and the Philippines filed a diplomatic protest with Beijing.
